This Spring marks our 5th year in business, so we are having a big birthday bash.
We’ll have our friends from the Tio Checko food truck set up in the lot, Priority Bikes and Human Robot are providing beverages, and we have a raffle planned with fun prizes from Swift Industries, Cleverhood, Redshift, and more! All proceed from the raffle will go to the Gaza Soup Kitchen and Gaza Sunbirds, both groups who provide mutual aid in Gaza.
This event is free & open to all!
Already have some base bicycle repair knowledge, but looking to expand into more complex repairs? Join us this winter for our Intermediate Home Mechanic Repair Class!
This hand-on class will dive into more complex repairs like wheel truing, component replacement, bearing adjustment. In addition, students will leave with their very own copy of the Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair.
If you want to learn how to do fix flat tires or do basic brake and derailleur adjustments: please take our Beginner Repair Class first.
This class consists of 2 separate 2hr classes.

We can order from Velocity, DT Swiss, Hope, White Industries, Son, Shimano, Velo Orange, Pacenti, etc, just to name a few. We will work with you to make sure you get the wheel you want! Students will get 15% off components used in the class (this is not included in the cost of the class).
*Although this cost can range, expect to budget at least $150 for a budget wheel, to up to a few hundred for higher end wheel.
Interested in learning more about your bike and want to start doing minor repairs at home? Join us at Keystone Bicycle Co. this winter for our Beginner Mechanic Class, a two session class covering repair basics.
This hands-on class will give you experience and confidence diagnosing problems, making minor adjustments, and doing regular maintenance. In addition, students will leave with their very own copy of the Park Tool Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair.
This class consists of 2 separate 2hr classes.

We will be hosting a Swift Campout ride again this year to Evansburg State Park!
The ride is about 35mi each way, primarily on the SRT and Perkiomen trail. Because this route is primarily on trails, it is a beginner friendly camping trip.

This is a six week course where we will cover a wide variety of topics and give you the knowledge to feel confident tackling mechanic projects at home. These classes will be offered individually or as a package. The full series package includes a 6th class where you’ll be able to work on your own bike at the shop!
DATES:
1/25: Class 1: Intro To Bike Mechanics - Tool overview, bicycle anatomy, torque specs, and laying a base to be a confident home mechanic!
2/1: Class 2: Braking Systems - Adjust different types of brakes, replacing brake cable, troubleshooting braking issues, and replacing brake pads.
2/8: Class 3: Drivetrain - Checking wear and installing drivetrain parts, adjusting shifting, trouble shooting common problems.
2/15: Class 4: Wheels - Truing wheels, replacing a broken spoke, how to assess the “health” of a wheel. Covering tire install, tubeless set ups.
2/22: Class 5: Bearing Systems - Go over the components of a bearing system and apply that to wheel hubs, bottom brackets, and headsets, touching on both loose ball and sealed bearings.
2/29: Class 6: BYOBike - You will have a chance to bring in your bike, work on it in the shop and ask us specific questions. We can also use this class to go into more depth on specific topics if needed. *Only available to folks who sign up for the whole class package.

Join us in a deep dive class into hydraulic brakes! You will learn about hydraulic braking systems. We will cover how to replace brake pads, the basics of bleeding brakes, and troubleshooting common problems. We aim to demystify what is going on with your hydraulic brakes!!
This class will consist of both a lecture portion and a hands on portion.
No need to bring your bike, we will have bikes to work on!

Join us in our deep dive into cable brakes! We will cover how to cable and adjust linear pull, cantilever, caliper, and disc brakes (tailored to the needs of the class). We will also go over how to troubleshoot common issues, brake pad replacement, and compatibility concerns.

No need to bring your bike, we will have bikes to work on!
